My husband and I came for our first kickboxing class here yesterday. Immediately, Jeanne was warm and welcoming; she picked up instantly how nervous I was (I'd never done anything like this before and it's been a hard year where I let myself go a lot). I didn't have a lot of confidence. She was supportive and positive with us throughout the whole workout, and especially toward my husband who has Fibromyalgia. That meant a lot to me personally because not many people understand this condition and they take for granted that just because he's a tall, big-looking dude, he's not always 100% able to do everything everyone else can. Sometimes, just getting out of bed completely exhausts him so to go through a kickboxing workout is really a feat for him. Even getting there was an accomplishment. He couldn't finish the whole thing (this time) but Jeanne didn't make him feel bad about it at all. As if Jeanne being amazing wasn't enough, the workout itself REALLY targeted areas I've never worked before and by the end of the class, I was sweaty and out of breath but HAPPY. And the other members were great as well! During and after the workout, multiple people gave us words of encouragement and welcomed us in. I can tell this is a tight-knit group. This positive, energizing, supportive experience, environment, and group of people sealed the deal on us joining up for a year's membership. VERY happy we found this place and VERY happy to return as soon as possible.

I just had a baby via c-section 4 months ago and haven't worked out in a long time. I decided to take a kickboxing class and it was amazing. Jeanne was really motivating and she gave me personal instruction during class so I wouldn't hurt myself. The class was hard but a lot of fun and I can't wait to go back!

I signed up my girls today for Krav Maga class and Jeanne and Keith were so wonderful. Thank you so much for accepting my 11-year-old daughter for this class and for the consideration of giving them a private lesson today, Monday. They love it and we can't wait to go back and to keep this as part of their regular activities now and for the years to come to strengthen their skills.

Is there a belt system in Krav Maga?

Yes, there are six levels: Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Brown and Black. You’ll have to test at each level before advancing to the next.
